Thinking Fast and Osteopathy Pain

I'm sharing this text here, this idea.

Little editing in the text.

As little complexity as possible in the idea.

Osteopathy follows the principle that the structure of the body and its function are interdependent, i.e. any alteration to the body such as an injury or a postural change can cause alterations to the function of any of our physiological systems and these in turn will give a signal known as Pain which indicates that something may need "help".

Equipped with knowledge of anatomy and physiology, the osteopath has the ability to interpret these signs (these pains) and correlate them with the alterations found during the physical assessment.

Techniques such as manipulation, myofascial and neuodynamic therapies allow the osteopath to re-balance the alterations found in the body, allowing it to "switch off" the alarm signals and resolve the pain process, accompanied by a feeling of general well-being.

The idea is to publicise Osteopathy and what it can do for people through short, simply-written texts.
